Characteristics of a concave diffraction grating on which a spherical wave is incident

Abstract

A technique is proposed for solving the problem of the diffraction of a spherical wave at a concave diffraction grating. This uses methods for solving the problem of diffraction at a flat grating and the methods of geometrical optics, thereby allowing the parameters of the grating design to be calculated.
