Abstract

This paper proposes a theoretical model of the nonlinear frequency conversion of laser radiation in a nonlinear crystal (NC) in which the model makes it possible to carry out calculations both in the absence of focusing and in the case of various geometries of the focusing system: spherical or cylindrical. The model is based on the numerical solution of a system of coupled differential equations that describe the nonlinear conversion process, combined with a homogeneous wave equation, by means of which the propagation of focused radiation in the NC is calculated.
