Abstract

This paper presents a technique for calculating the optical layouts of spectral devices with nonclassical concave holographic diffraction gratings (CHDGs). Formulas are given for calculating the allowances on the accuracy with which the holographic parameters are set. A holographic installation for recording CHDGs in nonhomocentric beams is described. An aberrational calculation is carried out for a spectrograph with a CHDG for various grating-recording layouts. It is shown that the method of recording gratings in nonhomocentric beams makes it possible to substantially improve the aberrational and energy characteristics of the spectrograph.
