Abstract

This paper presents the transmission spectrum of two plane-parallel plates fabricated from a lithium niobate crystal and placed between a polarizer and an analyzer. It is shown that it is possible to control the transmission spectrum with various combinations of the orientation of the plates relative to the plane of transmission of the polarizer, as well as by rotating the analyzer.
