Abstract

This paper presents a brief review of the work of the laser staff of S. I. Vavilov State Optical Institute (Science Section 17 of GOI, later the Institute of Laser Physics, NPK GOI). The most substantial results of work in the area of laser physics and engineering and nanophotonics obtained in recent years by ILF staff members of NPK S. I. Vavilov State Optical Institute are considered in more detail.
