Abstract

This paper presents the results of an analysis of the processes of laser thermal cleavage of brittle nonmetallic materials along closed curvilinear contours. Technical methods developed by the authors are described that provide qualitative improvement of the current technology. A calculation is carried out of the thermoelastic fields formed in the material as a result of processing it along a circular contour.
