A spectrograph for investigating quantum dots

Abstract

This paper shows that it is promising to use spectral devices based on concave aberration-corrected diffraction gratings to investigate nanomaterials. As an example, the results of a calculation are presented for a small spectrograph with a flat field for investigating quantum dots, which provides a spectral resolution of 0.25nm at a relative aperture of 1:3.
