Abstract

Based on a magnetically compressed discharge with an electromagnet, a high-power plasma radiator capable of operating in the pulsed, continuous, and combined regimes has been created. The radiant exitance of the discharge plasma reaches 2×105W/cm2 in the pulsed regime and 104W/cm2 in the continuous regime.
