Stereoscopic display with reproduction of perspective images in intersecting planes

Abstract

A stereoscopic display has been created that reproduces the left and right sides of a stereo pair in intersecting observation planes. The display thus constructed makes it possible to eliminate splitting of the stereoscopic image when a stereo pair is reproduced from cameras with convergent optical axes.
