Abstract
This paper proposes a method that combines the fast response of mathematical calculations carried out by computer with visual evaluation and interactive correction of the interpretation process. The method is based on a new means of image conversion that visualizes the measure of similarity to a sample. The method is implemented in the DiaMorph Ob’jectiv software, which is intended for computer analysis of digital-microscopy images. The software can be used to process images obtained in transmitted, reflected, polarized, and unpolarized light and in fluorescence light. The software makes it possible to distinguish objects in terms of a collection of attributes not only on monochrome and color images but also on multispectral and hyperspectral images.
