Using LOMO microviewers in microbiology

Abstract
This paper discusses the question of whether there is an advantage to carrying out microscopic studies using modern domestically produced optical microviewer devices (OAO LOMO). Examples are demonstrated of an analysis of untreated specimens and specimens stained using standard diagnostic techniques, based on clinical samples.
