Abstract

This paper discusses how the optical and strength characteristics of nanofilms of an identical oxide composition of 20 mol% Bi2O3, 25 mol% Fe2O3, and 55 mol% TiO2, deposited on glass substrates by the sol–gel method, are affected by certain technological parameters (the basic and impurity compositions of the film and the starting materials and the temperature–time synthesis conditions). It is shown that the properties of nanofilms are highly sensitive to the indicated parameters of the technological process.
