Abstract
This paper discusses ophthalmologic lenses. The operation of lenses in a composite system is studied, and the requirements on image quality are determined. A technique is presented for designing ophthalmologic lenses from the condition for correcting spherical aberration, coma, and astigmatism. A design for a lens with focal power 110 D is given as an example.
