Abstract

A commercial sol–gel technology has been developed for obtaining one- and two-layer coatings by drawing items from solutions of tetraethoxysilane and tetraethoxytitane. Technological apparatus has been created for depositing antireflection coatings on large, heavy optical items (up to 1000 kg). Data are presented on the optical characteristics of the resulting coatings.
