About the Journal

The Journal of Optical Technology (JOT) is an English-language translation of the Russian journal, Opticheskii Zhurnal, which originates from the S.I. Vavilov State Optical Institute. JOT publishes design details of a diversity of optical instruments, along with a strong section on computational optics useful to engineers, mathematicians, and physicists, as well as optical scientists. Issues of the English translation volume appear at the same time as the original Russian language edition, Opticheskii Zhurnal.

Editor-in-Chief: A.S. Tibilov, S.I. Vavilov State Optical Institute
ISSN: 1070-9762 | eISSN: 1091-0786
