Abstract
An erratum is presented to correct the inadvertent typing mistakes in our paper [Opt. Express 14, 13131 (2006)].

In our paper [1], some inadvertent typing errors have been found and corrected as below. The parameter
used in the second exponent and minus sign of the third exponent of Eq. (16) of Ref. 1 is corrected as τ and plus sign respectively. The Eq. (16) and the related Eq. (19) should read:

The parameter
in Ref. 1 was used for the angular divergence of the Gaussian beam free-from initial spatial chirp ξo. Therefore, the dispersion parameters of second parallel disperser, used in Section 2, should read as α2′=l/α and β2′=- β/α in place of
=l/α; and
=-β/α. Next, the value of cross-over angle used in Section 5 for calculation for measurement sensitivity was 2° instead of 12°
