The authors have fabricated a quarter-wave plate from a single layer of birefringent electric split-ring resonators (ELC). The current at 639 GHz when excited by linear polarization at 45 degrees. [See - A. C. Strikwerda, K. Fan, H. Tao, et. al. Fig. 9 for details.]
