Real-time image processor with stacked liquid-crystal panels based on array logic

Abstract
A real-time image processor based on array logic is constructed. Encoding is performed with stacked liquid-crystal panels and stripe-structured analyzers; programming is performed with liquid-crystal gates connected to a pattern generator. This processor performs parallel operations at video rates.
