Suppression of mode jumps in a single-mode fiber laser

Abstract

A narrow-linewidth Nd3+-doped fiber laser is tuned by two cascaded Fabry–Perot filters. Mode jumps are suppressed by stabilization of both filters independently with respect to the oscillation frequency of the laser.
