Abstract
We demonstrate successful single-frequency, single-polarization operation of erbium:ytterbium fiber Fabry–Perot lasers with frequency- and polarization-selective optical feedback, using a fiber Bragg grating and a polarizer. Side-mode suppression greater than 60>dB and pure single-polarization operation were achieved.
