Second-harmonic generation and degradation in critically phase-matched KNbO3 with a diode-pumped Q-switched Nd:YLF laser

Abstract

We report on critically phase-matched second-harmonic generation of a diode-pumped Q-switched Nd:YLF laser with KNbO3. We discuss the temperature and intensity dependence of conversion efficiency and long-term degradation effects for more than 3 × 1010 pulses.
