Holographic interconnects: transverse Bragg waveguides

Abstract

We propose a new type of planar optical interconnect, the transverse Bragg waveguide. With this interconnect, We propose a new type light distribution is converted into a one-dimensional output light distribution by means one-dimensional input of holographic patterning along the direction of propagation.
