Dispersion compensation for terahertz optical frequency comb generation

Abstract

We demonstrate dispersion compensation in a terahertz-span optical frequency comb generator by use of an intracavity prism pair. With partial compensation of the material dispersion of the lithium niobate modulator, the span of the comb increases from 3.0 to 4.3 THz.
