Abstract

We respond to the Comment on our paper made by Li [Opt. Lett. 33, 1366 (2008) ]. Li noted that the approach undertaken in our original paper [Opt. Lett. 32, 1168 (2007) ] is similar to that undertaken by Strassen [Numer. Math. 13, 354 (1969) ], although the application for which we used this approach had not been considered.
