Abstract
Supercontinua generated in highly nonlinear fibers by ultrashort-pulse lasers can be used for high-resolution Fourier transform absorption spectroscopy. The practical advantages of these bright ultrabroadband light sources for spectroscopy in the near-infrared region are reported. A
