Continuous-wave, multiple-order rotational Raman generation in molecular deuterium

Abstract

We demonstrate the generation of 10 rotational sidebands using continuous-wave stimulated Raman scattering in molecular deuterium. The generation occurs inside a high-finesse cavity at molecular gas pressures of 0.1atm.
