Abstract

The theoretical magnitude cross-sectional profiles for the electric and magnetic field components of a high-order Bessel vortex beam of fractional type α presented in Figs. 1 and 2 in [Opt. Lett. 36, 606 (2011)] are amended. Corrected computational plots that should replace the earlier ones are provided herein.
