Abstract

The temporal and spectral content of modified Hänsch-type organic dye lasers pumped by either XeCl or N2 lasers has been studied. Two extreme cases of amplitude-squared detector mode beating and mode-locked laser output are examined. Experimental consequences are briefly discussed
