Spotlight summary: A pleasurable read! A flow cytometry system is presented in a well-written paper that contains a solid analysis and fine results. The size and the refractive index of individual colloidal particles are accurately measured, and their three-dimensional motion is tracked in near real time from the video stream captured by an in-line holographic microscope—without the need of staining of fluorescent labeling. The multimedia content, although not mentioned specifically in the paper, is especially appropriate.
