Towards in vivo imaging of intramolecular fluorescence resonance energy transfer parametersPublished in JOSA A, Vol. 26 Issue 8, pp.1805-1813 (2009) |
Spotlight summary: Fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) imaging provides an invaluable tool for studying molecular interactions in biology. However, its application to deep tissue imaging has been limited. The authors present a very convincing approach to performing FRET imaging deep in tissues and use simulations and tissue phantoms to test the approach.
