Abstract
What we believe to be a new label-free multichannel biosensing platform is proposed. It is composed of surface-immobilized gold nanospheres (SIGNs) above a gold surface with a nanogap supported by a merocyanine self-assembled monolayer. The circular SIGN spots with a diameter of
