MCF10A cell spheroids grown under 3D basement membrane culture conditions have been imaged under two-photon excitation selective plane illumination microscopy, in order to show the imaging capabilities of a 2PE-SPIM in a thick sample with around 50 mm-1 scattering coefficient. For details, see Lavagnino et al., Opt. Express 21, 5998 (2013).
